Description

Useful in many machine assemblies, Retaining Rings provide an artificial shoulder for accurately locating, retaining or locking components in position, replacing nuts, threaded sleeves, cotter pins, rivets, machined shoulders and other bulkier fittings.The tapered design maintains circularity and pressure against grooves. They are axially applied and can be removed with Retaining Ring Pliers. The RE series is Carbon Steel with a Zinc Plated finish, except RE-2 and RE-3 which are Beryllium Copper.
